Senior Accountant

KBW Financial Staffing and Recruiting has partnered with an engineering/construction company local to the Milford, NH area in their search for a Senior Accountant. This position is onsite and will report to the Controller. The responsibilities will include supporting a growing organization operating in multiple states with different lines of business that support each other. This role reports to a Controller and interacts with folks across operations and finance. Responsibilities Preparation of financial statements, accruals, journal entries, project accounting including some cost. Balance sheet reconciliations, bank reconciliations, vendor and client account reconciliations. Assist with month end close, quarter close, year-end, assist with budgets, revenue accounting. Support and implement process improvements across accounting as needed, support audits and special projects. Requirements A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business More than three years experience in a medium to large organization Advanced Excel skills, solid systems skills Compensation: $90-110k plus excellent benefits.
