Imagine the satisfaction of helping clients meet their financial needs while enhancing your professional skills in customer service and banking operations.  The position would be around 15-20 hours a week.  The schedule would be every Friday from 9 to 5:30 and Saturday from 7:45 to 12.  Additional hours may be available.

Apple River State Bank was chartered in 1948 and opened in Apple River, Illinois which still remains a locally owned financial institution. As Apple River State Bank evaluated the local markets, it concluded that branches located in the expanding communities of Jo Daviess County was a means of enhancing its long-term opportunities and offering true community banking services. As a result, Apple River State Bank has opened full-service branches in Apple River, Elizabeth, Galena, Hanover, Scales Mound and Warren, Illinois. In Wisconsin we have two full service branch locations one in Hazel Green and Darlington.

As a Part-Time Teller at Apple River State Bank in Hazel Green, WI, you will play a crucial role in processing customer transactions with precision and care. Your responsibilities will include handling deposits, transfers, and withdrawals, ensuring that each transaction is executed smoothly and efficiently. Additionally, you will engage in ATM and vault work, further expanding your skills within the banking operations. This hands-on position allows you to be at the forefront of customer service, providing a friendly and trustworthy experience for every client.

To excel as a Part-Time Teller at Apple River State Bank in Hazel Green, WI, you'll need a blend of essential skills and qualifications. A high school diploma or GED is required, along with at least one year of related experience or training-or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous cash handling or sales experience is preferred, as it demonstrates your ability to manage financial transactions efficiently.

Strong customer service skills are crucial for creating positive interactions with clients, addressing their needs, and providing solutions. Your attention to detail and problem-solving abilities will be invaluable in ensuring accuracy in all transactions. Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 1 year of related experience and/or training; or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Cash handling or sales experience with prior customer service experience preferred.
