Description Oral Surgery Dental Assistant Wave Dental Specialists | Dearborn Heights, Michigan | Full-Time Wave Dental Specialists is looking for an experienced Oral Surgery Dental Assistant to join our specialty team and work alongside our exceptional Oral Surgeon! We are a multi-specialty dental practice committed to providing exceptional, personalized patient care in a friendly and supportive environment. What We're Looking For Minimum 1 year of oral surgery dental assisting experience required DAANCE Certified OR IV Certified required EFDA experience is a plus Strong knowledge of dental terminology and procedures Comfortable assisting with surgical procedures and patient care Excellent communication and teamwork skills Dependable, organized, and patient-focused Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain Key Responsibilities Assist the Oral Surgeon during surgical procedures Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and patients Take and develop dental radiographs Provide pre- and post-operative patient instructions Maintain accurate patient records and documentation Sterilize instruments and follow infection-control protocols Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment Monitor and maintain dental equipment and supplies Help provide a positive, comfortable patient experience Pay & Benefits Competitive pay Weekly pay! 401(k) with company match after 90 days Health, dental & vision insurance 2 weeks PTO Up to 7 paid holidays Life insurance Short- and long-term disability Bonus & commission opportunities Continuing education opportunities If you have oral surgery experience and are looking for a great team where you can grow your skills, we'd love to meet you! Requirements Education and Training High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum one-year related experience and/or training or the equivalent of a combination of education and experience in the dental profession. Valid X-ray certificate.
