As an Access Control Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will help maintain a welcoming, secure environment by managing access points, monitoring badge activity and alarm panels, conducting routine patrols, and remaining visible to help deter incidents. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $19.47 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon02:00 PM - 10:00 PMFri02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSun02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate. Monitor and control access to the location by verifying credentials, managing visitor entry, issuing temporary access materials, and maintaining accurate access records. Operate access control systems, cameras, alarms, and communication equipment; report irregularities, access issues, and suspicious activity according to site procedures. Respond to incidents, access-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and emergency responders as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entry points, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns. Minimum Requirements: Customer service experience is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
