Veterinarian, Medical Director

The Pet Hospitals Houston Levee & Macon is looking for a full-time Veterinarian, Medical Director to join our team in Cordova, TN. About You As a clinical leader in our hospital, you'll drive positive change and medical excellence. In collaborative partnership with the Practice Manager and hospital leadership team, you will guide the hospital's medical standards, support hospital performance, and foster a positive, collaborative culture. Central to this role is your active involvement in recruiting and retaining top veterinary talent, coaching and developing associate DVMs, and upholding high standards of patient care. You'll mentor and develop associate veterinarians, support hospital operations through effective leadership and data-informed decision making, and play a key part in shaping clinical excellence and team engagement, all while modeling Thrive Pet Healthcare's Core Values. At The Pet Hospitals Houston Levee & Macon, a Thrive Pet Healthcare partner, you will have the support, tools, and resources to elevate your skills. Compensation is negotiable based on credentials and experience, with an annual PROSAL full-time range of $165,000-$180,000/year, plus an additional Medical Director stipend, an elevated production percentage, and quarterly production bonus opportunities with no negative accrual. The actual salary offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
