Healthcare Professional – Med/Surg

Schedule

12-hour shifts, with a mix of days and possible nights. Specific schedules may vary, with most Fridays required.

Assignment Details

Guaranteed Hours: 36 Contract Length: 13 weeks

Requirements

• 4+ years of recent acute care experience
• Experience in stepdown care preferred
• Ability to read telemetry strips independently
• Experience with Meditech and strong preference for EPIC experience
• Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Psychiatric experience is highly preferred
• Must have had 1 recent successful travel contract

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in a med/surg environment
• Monitor patients' vital signs and manage telemetry equipment
• Assist in performing medical procedures and maintaining patient records
• Communicate effectively with healthcare team members, patients, and families
• Adapt to different units and patient care needs as required
