Job-ID28989264Reference26-20162TypeContractSalaryUp to $30 / hour Overview Client is seeking an onsite Technical Support Representative to assist end users and administrators of electronic hospitality and commercial products. This role combines inbound call-center support, hardware and software troubleshooting, basic IP networking, PC support, and electronic product knowledge. Core Responsibilities Provide operational and technical assistance to product end users and administrators by telephone and email. Diagnose technical issues, determine resolution, document calls, and generate product replacement orders. Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software systems. Read wiring diagrams involving AC-to-DC conversion and grounding principles. Support database applications and perform basic reading and editing of SQL scripts. Maintain accurate customer communication and resolution records. Develop working knowledge of electronic products, database applications, and billing and collections processes. Follow established call-handling procedures and meet inbound call volume and productivity goals. Deliver timely, professional customer support. Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Technologies Minimum of one year of Technical Support, Call Center, or Help Desk experience. Basic IP networking knowledge. PC systems knowledge, including Windows 7–10. Ability to configure and troubleshoot hardware and software systems. Ability to read wiring diagrams and understand AC-to-DC conversion and grounding principles. Experience supporting customers by telephone. Ability to accurately document customer communications and technical resolutions. Ability to work evenings, early mornings, or weekends when required. Preferred Skills or Experience Basic experience reading and editing SQL scripts. Experience with database scripts, queries, stored procedures, or quality assurance. Experience supporting electronic hospitality or commercial products. Work Details Onsite in Salem, Oregon; remote work is not available. Primary first-shift schedule: 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., Monday–Friday. Hours of operation are 5:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m., seven days per week. Candidates must be flexible to work early mornings, evenings, or weekends when needed. 40 hours per week with potential overtime.
