POSITION OVERVIEW

\n

The Information Technology department is seeking an expert Mainframe Security Migration Specialist to report to the Director of Cybersecurity Operations. This role solves the critical business problem of modernizing and executing complex mainframe security environment transitions with minimal downtime and impact on production systems. The incumbent will serve as the principal subject matter expert to architect seamless migrations from legacy access control tools to advanced RACF frameworks.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

\n

• Lead and execute complex security migrations from TSS or ACF2 to RACF, ensuring minimal downtime and zero impact on production environments.

\n

• Perform in-depth analysis of existing security environments, identifying potential migration challenges and formulating a detailed strategy tailored to client requirements.

\n

• Manage the installation, configuration, validation, and automation of RACF profiles, rules, and access controls using IBM zSecure and related utilities.

\n

• Conduct comprehensive security assessments, vulnerability analyses, and compliance checks to eliminate gaps prior to cutover.

\n

• Collaborate with system programmers, network engineers, and application owners to ensure successful integration of RACF while providing post-migration support and team upskilling.
