Content Writer & Editor

Role Overview

Help improve next-generation AI systems by evaluating, editing, and strengthening written content. This remote contract role focuses on text quality, editorial judgment, and feedback that supports AI training datasets. Prior AI experience is not required.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess written content for clarity, coherence, accuracy, and alignment with project standards.
• Perform detailed writing evaluations and provide constructive feedback for improvement.
• Identify and annotate low-quality or artificial elements in AI-generated text.
• Edit documents for grammar, syntax, structure, and tone.
• Provide written analyses and recommendations that improve AI training datasets.
• Collaborate remotely with project coordinators and specialists, sharing actionable editorial insights.
• Complete assignments within defined timelines while maintaining consistent, reliable deliverables.

Qualifications

• Experience writing, editing, or evaluating text-based documents.
• Bachelor''s degree in English, Linguistics, or a related field, or previous English-teaching experience.
• Native-level English proficiency and exceptional attention to detail in written and verbal communication.
• Ability to distinguish nuanced differences between human-written and AI-generated text.
• Experience with content assessment, editorial review, or quality assurance projects.
• Strong organization, time management, independent-work, and remote-collaboration skills.

Work Terms

• Remote, independent contractor engagement.
• Availability in Australia or Asia Pacific time zones is preferred to support project coverage.

Compensation

• $20 to $70 per hour.
