Cardiac Medical RN - Night Shift, High-Impact Care

Title: RN – Registered Nurse – Cardiac Medical “We dedicate our lives to caring for yours” Position Description: RN BayCare Health System is currently seeking a Registered Nurse to join our outstanding and compassionate Cardiac Medical team at St. Joseph’s Hospital . This is a Cardiac PCU unit that takes care of patients with cardiac arrythmias, MI - myocardial infarct (heart attack), overflow for congestive heart failure, and all pre/post cardiac procedures, except open heart surgery. The RN responsibilities include: Independently caring for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards. Delegating appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team. Professional accountability and development. Performing the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned. Qualifications: Certifications and Licensures: BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification is required RN (Registered Nurse) license is required ACLS, NIHSS, and PCCN Certification is preferred Education: Associates degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma is required Bachelors degree in Nursing is preferred Experience: 2 year of RN experience is required.
