Senior Geotechnical Project EngineerWeston & Sampson is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Project Engineer in any of our North or South Carolina offices with 10+ years of experience with comprehensive experience in geotechnical engineering and project management.What You'll Do:Responsible for project management; preparation of proposals, complex technical reports, specifications, and construction drawings.Managing and reviewing work of junior staff and mentoring.Some travel will be required to client meetings and project sites.What You'll Bring:Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering.Master's degree preferred with concentration in geotechnical engineering16+ years of diverse and proven geotechnical experiencePE certification requiredExperience with dam safety engineering is a plus.Familiar with geotechnical aspects of Building Codes and Design ManualsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong leadership and decision-making skillsMust be motivated, responsible, and able to work independentlyA valid driver's license is requiredPE certification requiredWeston & Sampson is an 100% employee-owned, full-service environmental and infrastructure consulting firm made up of more than 1000 professionals, who work together to develop innovative, cost-effective solutions for our clients.
