Job Title: Warehouse Worker

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Worker responsible for picking, packing, and stocking items as they are received. This role involves handling a variety of inventory, from large metal or PVC piping to smaller fasteners or endcaps, depending on the phase of the construction project.

Responsibilities

• Use RF scan gun to locate inventory.
• Correctly pick, pack, and pull item type and quantity.
• Operate equipment such as pallet-jacks, fork-lifts, and push carts based on inventory type.
• Organize the staging area by priority.
• Maintain a clean work environment, including sweeping and mopping as necessary.
• Operate computers at the will-call booth.
• Assist internal and external customers with item look-ups, availability, and order placement.

Essential Skills

• Preferred experience in warehouse or labor roles.
• Ability to count accurately.
• Capability to lift 50 lbs and maneuver up to 100 lbs.
• Experience with RF devices and order picking.
• Competency in operating a fork-lift.
• Proficiency in English communication.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with receiving processes and RF devices.
• Experience in warehouse operations and order picking.
• Knowledge of material handling, shipping, receiving, and inventory management.

Work Environment

The work environment is a large warehouse filled with plumbing supplies ranging from 10-15ft pipes to small bolts and fasteners. This role requires working both indoors and outdoors, regardless of weather conditions, which can be very hot in the summer and very cold in the winter.Experi

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tigard, OR.

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
