Kit Packaging Associate 

Location: Walker, MI

Shift: 2nd shift 2:45PM – 1:00AM Monday – Friday 

Pay: $16.75 per hour 

Job Summary 

The Kitting Associate is responsible for assembling retail product kits by packaging multiple items into pre-determined configurations for a home shopping network product launch. This role involves accurately selecting products from pallets, verifying kit contents, packaging finished kits according to specifications, and ensuring quality standards are met. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.

What You'll Be Doing 

As a Kitting Associate, your core responsibilities will include: 

• Retrieve products and materials from pallets and staging areas for kit assembly.
• Assemble product kits according to specific packing instructions and customer requirements.
• Verify correct quantities and components are included in each kit.
• Inspect products and packaging for quality defects before shipment.
• Label, package, and prepare completed kits for distribution.
• Maintain accurate production counts and complete required documentation.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and stocked with necessary materials.

What We're Looking For 

To be successful in this role, you should have the following: 

Qualifications : 

• Previous experience in kitting, packaging, assembly, warehouse, or production environments preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed work instructions.
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and move products and materials as needed.
• Ability to work efficiently while maintaining accuracy and quality standards.
• Basic math and counting skills to verify kit contents and quantities.
• Strong attendance record and dependable work ethic.
