Full-time, 40 hours

Schedule: Monday-Friday 1st shift

Summary:
Performs duties associated with day to day operations of the Mail room, including: receiving, sorting, distributing, collecting and metering of postal materials in accordance with Summa procedures and USPS specifications.

Formal Education Required:
a. High school diploma or GED
b. Read, write and speak English

Experience & Training Required:
a. Two (2) years' experience within Mail Room operations preferred.
b. Experience Pitney Bowes connect plus equipment preferred.

Other Skills, Competencies and Qualifications:
a. Basic math and computer skills including Microsoft Office suite
b. Ability to deliver high quality work in a timely manner
c. Ability to meet and maintain a rigid daily schedule
d. Ability to effectively interact with populations of patients/customers with an understanding of their needs for self-respect and dignity
e. Develop ability to recognize and retain names of employees and departments when sorting mail

Level of Physical Demands:
a. Medium: Exerts 20-50 pounds of force occasionally and/or ten to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force continuously to move objects.
b. Ability to complete assigned routes throughout campus in a timely manner
c. Ability to stand for long periods of time

The salary range on this job posting/advertising is base salary exclusive of any bonuses or differentials. Many factors, such as years of relevant experience and geographical location are considered when determining the starting rate of pay.
