TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Portland, Oregon, 97216!

Job Title: Registered Nurse - ICU Profession: RN Specialty: RN - ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Acute care facility experience preferred License: Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice required Certifications: - Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required Must-Have: - Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred Description: Delivers coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff. Coordinates care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment. Collects relevant data pertinent to the patient’s health or situation. Analyzes the assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues. Develops a plan that prescribes interventions to attain outcomes. Implements the plan, coordinates care delivery, and employs strategies to promote health and a safe environment. Evaluates progress toward attaining outcomes. Identifies outcomes for the patient or the patient’s situation. Collaborates with the team of patient, family, and healthcare providers to provide patient care in a safe and caring environment. Provides learning opportunities for patients and family members, as well as team members. Directly provides health information to patients and families. Participates in discharge planning to provide continuity of care. Delegates appropriately and coordinates the duties of healthcare team members. Performs other job-related duties as assigned. Commits to the safety and wellbeing of associates and patients by receiving all required vaccinations as a condition of employment. Exemptions may apply for medical and religious reasons.
