Security Officer Hospital
As a Security Officer Hospital in Ventura, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service and communication while responding to healthcare-related situations. Monday 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM
Tuesday 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM
Friday 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM
Saturday 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM
Sunday 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM
What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, patient- or visitor-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facility grounds, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and assist with visitor screening, directions, and adherence to facility access procedures.
- Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency responders.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
- Be able to work in a hospital morgue.
- Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
