Senior Tax Accountant

A growing public accounting firm is seeking an experienced Senior Tax Accountant to join its Nashville team. This is a great opportunity for a tax professional looking to take on more complex engagements, increase client interaction, and continue progressing within public accounting. Responsibilities Prepare and review federal and state income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, S corporations, and corporations Handle increasingly complex tax compliance and planning engagements Research federal, state, and local tax issues Assist with quarterly and year-end tax planning and projections Communicate directly with clients regarding tax matters and information requests Identify potential tax-saving opportunities and provide recommendations Review work prepared by junior staff and provide guidance when needed Collaborate with managers and partners throughout client engagements Manage multiple engagements and deadlines during busy season Qualifications 2+ years of recent public accounting tax experience Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field Experience preparing complex individual and/or business tax returns Strong understanding of federal and state taxation CPA license or progress toward CPA preferred Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, deadline-driven environment #J-18808-Ljbffr Navigate Search
