Position Highlights: Schedule: Monday through Friday Hours of Operation: 8am to 4:30pm No holidays or weekends Responsibilities of the Recreation Therapy Specialist: Lead and facilitate daily programming as outlined by the Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS). Promote engagement in meaningful activities that support psychosocial well-being and life skills. Provide individualized neurocognitive and neurobehavioral support. Implement de-escalation strategies as needed. Maintain professional relationships with persons served, families, and team members. Collaborate with CTRS on program planning and adapt activities as needed. Complete documentation and communicate relevant updates to the care team.
