How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Develop tailored treatment plans by evaluating diagnoses to determine the exact frequency and type of care needed for optimal patient recovery.

• Manage advanced treatment equipment and care plans while continuously monitoring and sharing patient progress with the care team.

• Refine care strategies by assessing treatment effectiveness, medication administration and individual outcomes to maximize therapeutic success.

• Empower patients and families through clear condition education and connections to vital community support programs.

• Provide emergency intervention by responding immediately to resuscitation codes across the facility to protect and save lives.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):

• Respiratory Care Practitioner credentialed from the Texas Respiratory Care Practitioners Certification Program obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

• Respiratory Therapist specializing in Registered credentialed from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

• One or more of the following:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

• Instructor specializing in Basic Life Support obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

• Preferred Credential(s):

• Advanced Life Support. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

• Certification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation credentialed from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP).

• Pediatric Advanced Life Support. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
