The role is responsible for building member-relationships for the long term by matching member-needs to American Airlines Credit Union products, services and lending solutions. This role requires 20 hours weekly and the schedule is every Thursday & Friday, every other Wednesday and a monthly Saturday rotation. What you'll do Processnew loan applications, which includes interviewing the member, analyzing credit reports and documentation and offering the best product to meet member needs Exerciselending authority to correctly handle all loan requests, including but not limited to consumer loans Creates and promotes positive name recognition for the Credit Union Supportor speakpublicly at special Credit Union events Workwith branch/department managers and staff to identify and leverage cross-selling opportunities Researchmember inquiries and providesolutions as required in a timely manner Maintainawareness of all branch functions and duties to ensure proper support and coverage is provided at all times Implementand enforceinternal control and security measures in accordance with Credit Union policies and government regulations Fostera culture that promotes teamwork, service excellence and relationship building Handleresponsibilities of a Member Services Representative as needed PerformNotary Services as required Providecoverage for management vacations May work a rotating Saturday schedule depending on job location Performother duties as assigned The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuringthe security and confidentiality of all account and related information which is part of their work and for ensuring that his/her work is in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations including, but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act. All you'll need for success Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience High School diploma or GED equivalent Comfortable with a 20 hour, part-time position Must be able to work in-person at assigned branch location Must have strong working background in a financial institution and relevant consumer loan processing or underwriting experience within the last twelve months Job level to be determined by the candidate's skills, qualifications and experience Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, related area, or equivalent financial services experience, or a combination of education and experience that provides the necessary skills and knowledge to satisfactorily perform the essential job functions Lending and sales-culture environmentexperience Skills, Licenses & Certifications Skilled in Microsoft Office software (i.e., Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) gained through either work experience with the software or education and hands-on use of the software Must fulfill FAA criminal background checks to qualify for unescorted access privileges to airport security identification display areas (SIDA), if applicable Ability to exercise excellent member service skills Ability to perform in a sales-culture environment with a desire to cross sell Credit Union products and services Ability to perform in a fast paced environment, handle multiple tasks and function as an integral part of a team Ability to interact professionally with all employees and members Ability to speak, read, and write in English is required; Spanish is a plus Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision Ability to perform basic math calculations and analyze data Ability to self-motivate with strong organization skills and capacity for attention to detail Ability to effectively prioritize work and meet deadlines Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time Abiliyt to work varying schedules, including evenings and weekends Ability to travel overnight Ability to maintain satisfactory performance and attendance Ability to pass applicable American Airlines and Credit Union pre-hire compliance checks What you'll get Feel free to take advantage of all that American Airlines has to offer: Travel Perks: Ready to explore the world?
