CT Technologist

Job Summary: The Radiology/Cardiology CT Technologist is responsible for performing computed tomography (CT) imaging procedures, primarily using Canon CT equipment. The role requires proficiency to operate independently, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images for patient care. The technologist must adhere to safety protocols and collaborate with healthcare providers to support accurate diagnosis and treatment. Responsibilities: Operate Canon CT equipment to perform diagnostic imaging procedures. Prepare patients for CT scans, including explaining procedures and positioning. Ensure image quality and patient safety during all imaging processes. Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation. Collaborate with radiologists and cardiologists to interpret imaging needs. Adhere to radiation safety standards and infection control protocols. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CT equipment as needed. Required Skills & Certifications: ARRT certification preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Proficient in operating Canon CT imaging equipment. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong understanding of CT imaging protocols and safety standards. Preferred Skills & Certifications: Experience in both radiology and cardiology CT imaging. Additional certifications related to radiologic technology or cardiology imaging. Special Considerations: No holidays, call, or weekend shifts required. Strict adherence to safety and operational protocols for CT imaging. Scheduling: Regular shifts without holiday, call, or weekend coverage. Shift times determined by department needs, with no requirement for on-call duties. #J-18808-Ljbffr
