Traveling WelderWe are seeking experienced Traveling Welders for ongoing industrial and manufacturing projects. This is an excellent opportunity for welders who enjoy traveling, working on a variety of job sites, and earning strong compensation with daily per diem.The ideal candidate will have welding experience, be able to read blueprints, perform quality welds in multiple positions, and maintain a strong commitment to safety and craftsmanship.ResponsibilitiesPerform MIG, TIG, and/or Stick welding as requiredAssemble and weld metal components according to specificationsRead and interpret blueprints and work instructionsUse measuring tools to verify dimensions and tolerancesGrind, fit, and prepare materials for weldingInspect completed welds for quality and accuracyFollow all safety procedures and company policiesTravel to assigned project locations as neededQualificationsMinimum 6 months of welding experience preferredAbility to pass a weld testExperience welding in flat, vertical, and overhead positionsAbility to read blueprints and drawingsStrong attention to detail and qualityReliable transportation and willingness to travelAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPreferred ExperienceProduction or manufacturing weldingStructural steel or fabrication experienceWelding certificationsPrevious traveling welder experiencePay and Benefits$33.00/hour$150/day Per DiemDouble-Time Pay on SundaysPaid HolidaysOvertime OpportunitiesWeekly PayTravel-Based WorkThe pay range for this position is $22.75 - $26.40/hr.Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
