Field Marketing & Catering Specialist

Uncommon Brands is experiencing exciting growth and is searching for a community-driven, entrepreneurial, and guest-obsessed marketing professional to join our expanding team. The Field Marketing & Catering Specialist will be the boots-on-the-ground extension of our marketing team, building relationships in the communities where our restaurants live, growing catering sales, and executing local activations that connect each brand to its guests in a meaningful way. This role will also have the unique opportunity to build our catering program from the ground up. What You’ll Do: Develop and execute localized marketing plans for each restaurant location that drive traffic, build brand awareness, and support sales growth Develop and manage a university ambassador program, recruiting and activating student brand ambassadors near Uncommon Brands locations to drive awareness and guest acquisition Identify and pursue community partnership opportunities including businesses, schools, hospitals, churches, sports organizations, and local events Plan and execute grassroots sampling, pop-up, and field activation events that introduce each brand to new guests Build the Uncommon Brands catering program from the ground up, including menu support, packaging, pricing, ordering processes, and sales collateral Develop and execute a catering sales strategy targeting corporate accounts, event planners, and other high-volume opportunities Prospect, cultivate, and manage a pipeline of catering clients across all markets Serve as the primary point of contact for catering inquiries, managing logistics and ensuring a seamless guest experience from order to delivery Support new restaurant opening strategies with localized pre-launch outreach, sampling plans, and community engagement Capture photos and video at events and activations to support social media and marketing channels Track and report on field marketing activities, catering pipeline, and results to the VP of Marketing What We’re Looking For: 2+ years of experience in field marketing, catering sales, local store marketing, or a related role; fast-casual, QSR, or multi-unit restaurant experience preferred Curious and resourceful with AI tools; whether identifying community opportunities, tracking catering pipeline activity, or personalizing outreach, you’re always looking for a better way to get it done Proven track record of building relationships and driving sales in a community-facing role Experience developing or launching a catering program a strong plus Outgoing, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently in the field Highly organized with strong follow-through and the ability to manage a sales pipeline and event calendar simultaneously Flexible schedule: this role includes early mornings, evenings, and weekends as events require Valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation required $55,000 – $70,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
