Key Qualifications:
- Valid state license as an Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- Experience working in school-based or pediatric healthcare settings
- Familiarity with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and goal setting for students
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with staff, students, and families
- Organizational ability to manage documentation and caseloads efficiently
- Previous LOA (Leave of Absence) coverage experience preferred
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver school-based occupational therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs
- Assess student needs and develop tailored treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to promote student success
- Maintain accurate and timely records of evaluations, progress, and interventions
- Support students in developing skills for classroom participation and daily living
- Assist with home health and healthcare-related therapy as needed
