Work Environment\n

This position operates on a full-time, remote basis, providing flexibility while still enabling you to engage directly with clients in meaningful ways. Typical working hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some schedule flexibility to accommodate patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and culturally sensitive mental health assessments to understand each patient’s unique experiences, challenges, and aspirations.

• Develop tailored treatment plans based on evidence-based therapeutic interventions, ensuring they are aligned with the cultural and personal backgrounds of clients.

• Provide a range of therapy sessions—including individual, family, and group sessions—to address an array of mental health concerns and promote resilience within our patients.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive and comprehensive care for each individual.

• Deliver crisis intervention support during mental health emergencies, helping clients navigate immediate challenges while ensuring their safety and well-being.

• Offer education to patients and their families regarding mental health conditions, available treatment options, and resources within the community.

• Maintain confidential and precise documentation of patient interactions in accordance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing our electronic health record (EHR) system effectively.

• Participate actively in case conferences and team meetings to discuss patient progress and share insights, as well as engage in continuous cultural competency training.

• Stay updated with current research, best practices, and evolving cultural considerations in therapy to enhance the quality of care provided.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Possession of a current and valid professional license as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in the state of New York.

• Deep knowledge of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment approaches, and a genuine understanding of cultural dynamics in therapy.

• Demonstrated experience in delivering therapy, both individually and in groups, with a focus on culturally responsive and inclusive methods.

• Excellent crisis intervention skills and the ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations.
\n
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to build rapport and trust with a diverse range of clients.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and general computer applications necessary for handling documentation.

• Commitment to upholding professional boundaries, ethical standards, and confidentiality at all times.

• A proven ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team, contributing your insights and expertise.

Compensation and Benefits\n
