\nMonitor service department financial and operational performance.
\nReview job costs, labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor expenses.
\nPrepare and manage quoted service repairs.
\nSupport appropriate pricing and cost recovery for commercial service work.
\nMonitor work-order status and service-job profitability.
\nAssist with department budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting.
\nCustomer Relationship Management
\nDevelop and maintain strong relationships with commercial, industrial, institutional, and government customers.
\nServe as a primary management contact for key service accounts.
\nCommunicate repair recommendations and service options clearly and professionally.
\nResolve customer concerns and help ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
\nDevelop long-term relationships with facility managers, property managers, building owners, and other customer representatives.
\nBusiness Development

\nExpand service relationships with existing customers.
\nConduct facility and equipment assessments.
\nDevelop preventive-maintenance and service proposals.
\nSupport the development of recurring commercial service agreements.
\nFollow up on repair recommendations and service opportunities identified by field technicians.
\nCoordinate with other company departments to provide customers with comprehensive mechanical solutions.
\nTechnician Leadership
\nLead, support, and develop plumbing and HVACR service technicians.
\nEstablish clear expectations for safety, workmanship, productivity, customer communication, and field documentation.

\nPreventive Maintenance & Asset Management
\nSupport the development and execution of commercial plumbing and HVAC preventive-maintenance programs.
\nPromote accurate documentation of customer equipment and mechanical assets.
\nReview deficiencies identified during service and maintenance activities.
\nDevelop repair recommendations and proposals based on field findings.

\nExperience with Viewpoint Vista is a plus.
\nExperience in a union mechanical-contractor environment is a plus.
\nValid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
\nWhat We're Looking For
\nUnderstands commercial and industrial service rather than residential sales-driven service.
\nCan balance customer needs, technician resources, and business performance.
\nIs comfortable working directly with both customers and field personnel.
\nUnderstands how preventive maintenance, reactive service, repair work, and larger mechanical projects support one another.
\nValues accurate documentation and strong operational processes.
\nTakes ownership of problems and follows them through to resolution.
\nCan develop long-term customer relationships built on technical competence, responsiveness, and trust.
\nCompensation
\nBase salary: $110,000-$140,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
\nAdditional compensation and benefits will be discussed as part of the hiring process.
\nAbout the Opportunity
\nThis position offers the opportunity to take a significant leadership role within an established commercial mechanical contractor and help shape the continued growth of its plumbing and HVAC service capabilities.
