Southern Oklahoma Pain Management exists to serve the hurting. We believe in a personalized approach to patient care that begins with a thorough patient interview, examination, and evaluation of data. We are dedicated to relieving pain, restoring function, and improving lives and are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Medical Assistant (MA) to join our team. With SOPM, you'll play a key role in patient care, assisting with intake assessments, fulfilling orders for medications and treatments, and providing crucial support for interventional procedures performed in a state-of-the-art procedural suite. Your impact will extend to educating patients on effective pain management treatment plans and being a positive, compassionate connection throughout their journey. - Prepare for the patient visit, including pulling charts and notes, as well as setting up medical equipment
- Clean instruments and equipment after use
- Answer phones and field questions about medical issues, identifying visit needs
- Assist nurses and doctors with basic medical care and procedures
- Track lab results, call in prescriptions, and handle basic medical office duties
- BLS Certification or Certified Medical Assistant desired
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail
