Job Overview

A law firm seeks a midlevel Private Client Services Associate Attorney in Chicago, IL. The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of experience in trust and estate planning and administration, joining a national team dedicated to sophisticated estate and tax planning.

Duties

• Assist individuals and families with estate and tax planning techniques.
• Create and administer family offices and modify trusts.
• Administer complex estates and handle tax controversy matters.
• Plan with respect to business interests, art, and unusual assets.

Requirements

• 4-6 years of relevant transactional experience.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• LL.M. in tax preferred but not required.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction.
