Job Title

Registered Nurse – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) / Cardiac Stepdown

Location

Zanesville, OH

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 36 Hours per Week | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a cardiac stepdown/PCU setting, including management of cardiac drips, post-op open heart patients, and general cardiac/med-surg stepdown patients
• Perform and assist with heart catheterization recovery
• Manage ventilated patients as needed
• Work every third weekend and cover one holiday per contract period, subject to change based on census and staffing needs
• Float to other units during periods of low census or staffing coverage as required

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Minimum of three (3) years of cardiac stepdown experience
• Experience with open-heart surgery patients
• Experience managing ventilated patients
• Proficiency with Epic EMR
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with heart catheterization recovery
• Familiarity with fluctuating census environments and cross-unit flexibility
