Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights, 3x12 Hours (19:00–07:30) | Every Third Weekend Required | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to Labor and Delivery patients, including high-risk deliveries, preeclampsia with severe features, gestational hypertension, preterm labor, diabetes, and placental abnormalities
• Assist with and support special procedures including D&C, cerclage, and Cook's catheter placement for induction
• Perform continuous fetal monitoring and interpret findings in accordance with unit protocols
• Participate in required weekend rotation (every third weekend) and holidays as scheduled
• Float within the Labor and Delivery specialty as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Maryland RN license or active Compact RN license at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience (candidates with strong experience and active certifications may be considered)
• First-time travelers will not be considered
• BLS certification (American Heart Association only)
• ACLS certification (American Heart Association only)
• NRP certification (NRP or AAP accepted)
• AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification and C-EFM (Certified Electronic Fetal Monitoring) required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience managing high-risk obstetric patient populations including preeclampsia, preterm labor, and placental abnormalities
• Familiarity with induction procedures including Cook's catheter placement and cerclage
• Prior travel nursing experience within Labor and Delivery
