Chief Lending Officer/VP - Wheelhouse Credit Union (San Diego, CA)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in lending, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of consumer, mortgage, and commercial lending practices and regulations.
• Experience managing collections operations and implementing recovery strategies.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills.

Responsibilities:

The CLO ensures the Credit Union’s lending programs align with strategic goals, regulatory compliance, and risk management standards while delivering outstanding member experiences and strengthening our presence in the community.
