This role oversees every phase of the project while partnering with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and field teams to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.What You'll Do:Lead ground up industrial and commercial construction projects from award through final completionDevelop and manage project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and financial reportingOversee project planning, procurement, subcontractor management, and contract administrationReview drawings, specifications, and contract documents for completeness and constructabilityManage Requests for Information, submittals, change orders, and project documentationPartner closely with Superintendents to coordinate field operations and project executionLead owner, architect, subcontractor, and internal project meetingsIdentify project risks and implement solutions to maintain schedule and budgetMaintain strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycleEnsure compliance with company safety standards and quality expectationsCoordinate project turnover and closeout documentationWhat You'll Bring:5 or more years of experience as a Project Manager working for a commercial general contractorProven experience managing ground up industrial and commercial construction projectsTilt up construction experience is highly preferredExperience managing warehouse, manufacturing, distribution center, industrial, or large commercial projectsStrong understanding of project budgeting, scheduling, forecasting, contracts, and cost controlExperience managing projects from preconstruction through final closeoutExcellent communication, leadership, and organizational skillsProficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office, or similar construction management softwareBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferredPreferred Experience:Tilt up constructionWarehouse and distribution facilitiesManufacturing facilitiesIndustrial developmentsConcrete and structural steel constructionLarge scale commercial projectsUprite Construction was established in 1991 as a multi-service construction company specializing in project site development, ground-up, new construction, renovations, and tenant improvements for the commercial and industrial sectors.
