Junior Associate Attorney
Seeking a Junior Associate Attorney with 1–3 years of experience to join their Plaintiff Personal Injury Litigation team.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Manage plaintiff-side personal injury, wrongful death, insurance bad faith, and class action cases under senior attorney supervision.
- Draft pleadings, motions, written discovery, and legal correspondence.
- Take and defend depositions and assist with settlement negotiations.
- Prepare cases for mediation, trial, and verdict, serving as second chair and progressing to first chair.
- Conduct legal research, analyze complex legal issues, and manage case files using LexisNexis, Westlaw, and other legal tools.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of California civil litigation experience.
- Active California Bar membership in good standing.
- Plaintiff-side litigation experience is preferred; defense experience will also be considered.
- Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and negotiation skills.
- Comfortable handling contingency-fee cases in a fast-paced litigation environment.
