About the Position
Our client is seeking an experienced CDL A Driver for a temp-to-perm position delivering hardware supplies throughout the Northeast. This local driving role offers consistent weekday work, competitive pay, and a $5,000 sign-on bonus.
Pay & Schedule
- Pay rate: $346.15 per day, approximately $90,000 annually
- Schedule: Monday through Friday
- Hours per week: 40
- Start time: Between 3:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m.
- Employment type: Temp to perm
- Start date: July 7, 2026
- Sign-on bonus: $5,000
Job Details
- Route type: Local
- Freight: Hardware supplies
- Equipment: Automatic Freightliner with a 20- to 53-foot trailer
- Handling: Driver unload
- Stops: 8 to 10 stops per day
- Delivery areas: Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont, and Maine
- Hazmat endorsement required
- Training location: Rome, New York
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a CDL A tractor-trailer on local delivery routes
- Deliver hardware supplies to customers across the assigned service area
- Unload freight at delivery locations
- Complete approximately 8 to 10 stops per day
- Follow all applicable safety, DOT, and FMCSA regulations
- Maintain a professional and service-focused relationship with customers
Minimum Requirements
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
- 2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record, with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
- Hazmat endorsement
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
