Mechanical Engineer III

DescriptionKforce's client in Houston, TX is seeking a Mechanical Engineer III to join a dynamic engineering consulting team supporting complex commercial building projects. This role is responsible for the design and coordination of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems from concept through construction. This is a hybrid-full time role.The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience designing mechanical systems for commercial facilities such as aviation, healthcare, higher education, hospitality, government, or entertainment projects. Working closely with architects, contractors, and multidisciplinary engineering teams, this individual will develop code-compliant, cost-effective solutions while ensuring project quality, schedule, and client satisfaction.Key responsibilities include creating and coordinating Revit MEP/BIM models, preparing construction documents, conducting site visits, reviewing shop drawings, supporting construction administration efforts, and mentoring junior engineering staff.
