Employment Type: Contract (13 Weeks)

Pay: $70-75.00/hour

Shift: Varied shifts (between 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM), no weekends or holidays

Hours per Week: 40 hours (Guaranteed)

Job Description

The Retail Pharmacist is responsible for providing comprehensive retail pharmacy services, including medication dispensing, patient counseling, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards. This role involves working flexible shifts within operating hours while maintaining high-quality patient care.

Key responsibilities include:

Accurately dispensing prescription medications and verifying orders

Providing patient counseling on medication usage, dosage, and side effects

Ensuring compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations

Collaborating with healthcare providers and pharmacy staff

Maintaining proper documentation and pharmacy records

Supporting workflow efficiency within the retail pharmacy setting

Shifts are typically 8.5 hours, with flexibility for longer shifts if preferred.

Bed Size: 150–500

Trauma Level: Level 3

Requirements

Active Ohio Pharmacist License (must be in good standing)

Minimum 1 year of recent retail pharmacy experience

Vaccination certification required at the time of submission

RX30 pharmacy system experience preferred (not required)

Strong communication and patient counseling skills

Additional Notes (Important for Submission)

Overtime: Paid after 40 hours/week (By Week basis)

Facility may cancel up to 36 hours during the 13-week contract
