Our client is a profitable, product-led Enterprise SaaS company in data privacy and compliance. Their platform powers consent, governance, and secure data workflows for Fortune 100 customers, processing tens of millions of requests daily. They operate at real scale, with strong product-market fit and long-term customer contracts—offering rare stability in a high-growth space.

This is a hands-on senior engineering role with immediate ownership and a fast path to leadership. You will work directly with a highly technical founder (2x exits) and influence core architecture in a system already operating at meaningful scale. Best suited for engineers who want:

What You'll Do

• Build and scale high-throughput APIs and services (50M+ daily events)
• Own features end-to-end, from design to production
• Improve system performance, reliability, and security
• Contribute to architecture decisions and technical direction
• Mentor junior engineers as you grow into a leadership role

What You Bring

• 6–10 years of backend or full-stack engineering experience
• Strong fundamentals in APIs, distributed systems, and debugging
• Experience with modern web stacks (e.g., JavaScript + any OOP backend)
• Comfort working in a fast-moving, high-ownership environment
• Ability to work hybrid in the DC area (relocation supported)
