To qualify for the position of Registered Dental Hygienist, candidates must:

• Possess a valid Registered Dental Hygienist license
• Hold an up-to-date CPR certification
• Exhibit a strong commitment to oral health and patient well-being

Responsibilities of the Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) include:

• Educating patients on dental hygiene practices and nutritional choices
• Performing scaling and polishing to eliminate plaque and tartar
• Taking dental X-rays as needed
• Applying topical fluorides and fissure sealants to prevent cavities
• Conducting screenings and ongoing assessments
