Show us your drop-dead talent and prowl our midways with your fellow undead. Candidates must be energetic, dedicated, exercise good judgment and remain safety conscious at all times. Responsibilities As part of the SCarowinds Terror Team, daily assigned duties vary & may include tasks such as: Scare guests of all ages without touching by using the element of surprise Entertain guests as a costumed character by bringing to life the personality of the specific character through hand/body movements and strong vocalization where applicable Develop gestures and movements unique to the character to make our guests scream in terror Wear complete costume, makeup, and/or mask provided as assigned. Maintain a healthy and FUN scare experience for guests and fellow monsters Qualifications You! People who love helping others and will support the needs of our guests and associates. Good judgement and a commitment to safety. Ability to work and interact with people from diverse backgrounds. Individuals with a passion and excitement about Carowinds. Ability to demonstrate strong vocal tones & basic acting ability. Ability to scream and speak before large groups of people. Ability to maintain a calm demeanor during emotionally charged situations. Ability to wear costumes with masks, and/or heavy make-up. Ability to work in a dark or poorly lit area with special effects and atmospheric fog.
