The position is onsite and based in Miami, Florida The position is also not eligible for work authorization sponsorship. Position Summary: TheLead, Crew Population Health & Disease Preventionis responsible forthe development, implementation, and oversight of fleet-wide population health initiatives focused on chronic disease prevention, health promotion, wellness, and preventive care strategies. This role is dedicated tooptimizingcrew health outcomes, reducing health-related risks, and supporting safe, sustainable maritime operations. The Lead provides leadership and oversight for the Manila-basedteamofwellnessnursesand works collaboratively with shipboard and shoreside Clinical Operations teams to ensure an integrated and effective approach to crew health and wellness. This position plays a key role in advancing the organization's global health strategy through preventive care, early intervention, health education, and data-driven population health programs. Reporting to the AVP, Clinical Services, the Lead serves as a subject matter expert in population health management and preventive medicine while fostering a culture of health and wellbeing throughout the crew population. This position is based in the Miami Corporate Officeand requires periodic domestic and international travel (approximately 10-15%). Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Clinical Program Oversight Establish program goals, key performance indicators (KPIs), and outcome measures to assess effectiveness and drive continuous improvement. Monitor population health trends and evaluate program performance through data collection, analytics, and reporting. Provide quarterly population health reports, insights, and recommendations to executive leadership. Identifycrew members at elevated risk for medical debarkation and ensuretimelyescalation and coordination with Medical Operations and Risk Management teams. Develop,maintain, and regularly update standard operating procedures (SOPs), guidelines, and workflows related to population health and disease prevention programs. Leadership & Team Management Lead, mentor, and manage thewellnessnursingteam, ensuring consistent delivery of care coordination services and program compliance. Establish team goals, performance expectations, and professional development opportunities. Foster collaboration between shipboard and shoreside clinical teams to support continuity of care andoptimalhealth outcomes. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with stakeholders across Clinical Operations, Medical Operations, Risk Management, Human Resources, Communications, Public Health, and other departments to ensure alignment and effective execution of health initiatives. Participate in multidisciplinary case review discussions involving active medical, complex, or litigated cases. Champion innovation and continuous improvement in population health and disease prevention programs. Compliance & Regulatory Responsibilities Ensure all programs and practicescomply withcompany policies, applicable healthcare regulations, and industry standards. Maintain the confidentiality and security of Protected Health Information (PHI). Adhere to allcompanypoliciesand procedures. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license. Minimum of five (5) years of experience in case management, population health, wellness, disease management, occupational health, or a related clinical field. Minimum of three (3) years of leadership or people management experience. Demonstrated experience designing and implementing wellness, preventive health, or chronic disease management programs. Strong clinical judgment with the ability to assess complex medical situations and determineappropriate interventions. Experience analyzing healthcare data, developing clinical metrics, and evaluating program outcomes. Strong knowledge of preventive health, chronic disease management, health promotion, and population health principles. Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Certification in Case Management (CCM), Population Health, Public Health, Occupational Health, or Wellness Coaching. Experience supporting maritime, travel, occupational, or international workforce populations. Bilingual or multilingual capabilities;proficiencyin a second language is strongly preferred. Experience managing remote or globally distributed healthcare teams. Technical Skills Advancedproficiencyin Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Experience with electronic health records and case management systems. Working knowledge of systems such as PeopleSoft, AIRTS, RMIS,SeaCare, and other healthcare information systems preferred. Must be able to communicate effectively and assess information in a fast-paced business environment. Occasionally required to walk on docks, board vessels, and ascend or descend stairs and gangways. Domestic and international travel may berequired. Visual requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Work Schedule Regular business hours:9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern Time Based at theMiami Headquartersoffice. Additionalhours may berequiredto support operational needs across global time zones.
