Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct thorough initial assessments to understand clients' unique concerns and collaboratively develop tailored treatment plans that address their specific needs. \n
- Facilitate one-on-one therapy sessions utilizing a variety of evidence-based techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to effectively treat conditions like anxiety, depression, and trauma. \n
- Provide crisis intervention and stabilization support to clients in distress, ensuring their immediate safety while planning for ongoing therapeutic work. \n
- Maintain open lines of communication with interdisciplinary team members, ensuring that all aspects of a client’s care are addressed holistically. \n
- Stay current with the latest research and best practices in mental health by participating in ongoing training opportunities and contributing to program development initiatives. \n
- Document all client interactions accurately and confidentially in our electronic medical records system, maintaining compliance with ethical and legal standards. \n
Your clients will encompass a diverse range of individuals facing varying mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma. Your culturally competent approach will support clients from different backgrounds, ensuring they receive empathetic and personalized care.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution is required. \n
- Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Maryland. \n

- A minimum of two years of experience providing counseling services to individuals facing emotional challenges is preferred. \n
- Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to establish rapport and trust with diverse clients. \n
- Experience with electronic medical records systems is an advantage but not mandatory. \n
- A commitment to cultural competence and the delivery of inclusive mental health services. \n
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary for effective collaboration with clients and team members. \n
The salary for this full-time position ranges from USD 115,000 to 130,000 per year , commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, counselors in this role are eligible for a monthly healthcare stipend, free use of our mental health platform while active on it, and flexible scheduling options to support a balanced work-life arrangement.
