Licensed Vocational NurseThe Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse functions in a collaborative practice alongside physicians and nurse practitioners within a physician practice or clinic setting. In this role, the nurse provides comprehensive ambulatory care by performing patient-focused assessments, executing clinical interventions, and delivering vital health education to patients and their families. They are responsible for skillfully and consistently performing daily clinical duties in strict accordance with established organizational policies and medical procedures.Education & Experience:Graduate of an accredited school of vocational nursing.0+ year of clinical experience in a pediatric or ambulatory setting.Clinical experience preferred.Licensure, Registration, or Certification:Current, valid license to practice as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in the State of Texas.Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certificationHours:Monday to Friday: 8:00am to 5:00pm or 8:30am to 5:30pmAbout Cook Children's:Our not-for-profit organization is comprised of a flagship medical center in Fort Worth, Texas, a new medical center in Prosper, Texas, a physician network, home health company, surgery centers, health plan, health services, and health foundation.
