Find your future with us.Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is looking for a Lead Structural Analysis Engineer to join our Air Dominance team in Berkeley, MO This program is on the cutting edge of development supporting the Next Generation of fighter aircraft. We are looking for a qualified structural analysis engineer with experience in full scale testing, component testing, test instruction authoring, correlation analysis, and FEM verification activities. This person must be able to work 100% independently. Position Responsibilities:Lead a team of Structures Engineers developing test plans and configurations in support of structural testingSupport test execution and analyzes test results to validate and verify structure meets requirementsCoordinate with internal/external customers and other stakeholders and ensure alignment with ASIP and other requirementsMentor and provide technical support as requiredWork independently with minimal oversite Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus on Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace Aeronautical or Material Sciences)Level 4: 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experienceAdvanced expert knowledge of aircraft structure, materials strength and properties, design and manufacturing requirements, loading conditions and processesExperience with setting criteria for certification, testing and allowable development, loads and analysis, and creating innovative solutions to complex problemsSuccessful developmental effort noted for technology development of advanced tools, processes, materials and configurationsMentoring of early and mid-level career engineers and consultation/direction of work for other similar platforms, programs or business unitsThis position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered activeThis position requires ability to obtain Special Program Access, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship only.
