Civil/Structural Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Civil / Structural Engineer to support the design and execution of major industrial facilities, including refineries, LNG plants, petrochemical facilities, and gas processing projects. In this role, you'll work across EPC projects from FEED through construction, developing safe, efficient, and code-compliant structural solutions.

What You'll Do

• Design structural steel and reinforced concrete systems for industrial facilities

• Develop foundations, equipment supports, pipe racks, substations, and control buildings

• Perform engineering calculations and prepare technical reports

• Review fabrication drawings, vendor submittals, and shop drawings

• Participate in 3D model reviews and multidisciplinary design coordination

• Collaborate with geotechnical, civil, and project teams

• Provide technical support during construction and resolve field issues

• Ensure designs comply with AISC, ACI, ASCE, and project standards

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering

• 10+ years of structural engineering experience in industrial environments

• Experience with refinery, LNG, petrochemical, chemical, or gas processing facilities

• Strong knowledge of AISC, ACI, and ASCE codes and standards

• Experience supporting EPC projects from FEED through construction

• Background in foundation design, equipment supports, and steel structures

• Strong technical problem-solving and communication skills

• PE license preferred

Preferred Experience

• LNG project experience

• Pipe racks, substations, and control building design

• CAD and 3D model review experience

• Coordination with geotechnical and site development teams

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Houston, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $85.00 - $100.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
