Shift: 12hr Night Shift (36) 19:00-07:30

Facility: Level IV Trauma | Primary Stroke Center | 74 beds

Unit Details:
LDRP Unit – 8 labor beds, 1 antepartum, 3 triage bays, 12 postpartum beds
Experience: Minimum 1 year required
First-time traveler: Accepted

Patient Care:
Labor & Delivery, C-sections, Mother/Baby, OB triage, antepartum, high-risk patients (complex cases transferred)

Ratios:
L&D: 1:1
Postpartum: 1:1-3 (AWHONN guidelines)

Required Certifications:
BLS, ACLS, NRP, FHM

Skills Required:
Fetal heart monitoring & tracing interpretation
Labor management through delivery
C-section circulating
Postpartum & newborn care

Support:
Charge RN (limited assignment)
24/7 OB & Anesthesia on-call
Phlebotomy support
In-unit fetal monitoring

Equipment/EMR:
EPIC preferred | Alaris | Pyxis

Floating:
No external floating (only within LDRP)

Orientation:
1–3 shifts based on experience

Schedule:
12-hour Night Shift (1900–0730)
Weekend: 1/month
No mandatory call
Holidays: 1 summer + 1 winter
RTO: Up to 7 days
