Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Provide physical therapy services to patients in their place of residence who have physical impairments, functional limitations, or disabilities resulting from injury, disease, or other causes. Collaborate with patients, families, physicians, and allied health professionals to identify needs and coordinate services. Utilize thorough and timely electronic documentation and interdisciplinary communications in accordance with agency policies and standards of practice.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor‘s, Master‘s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active Massachusetts Physical Therapist license required to start the assignment.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a certified home health agency.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
• Ability to travel to patient homes as assigned and perform work across multiple service areas within the region.
• Weekend rotations required approximately once every 6 weeks.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with electronic clinical documentation systems used in home health settings.
• Experience treating a broad age range, from pediatric to geriatric patients.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 08:00–16:30.
• Weekend rotations approximately once every 6 weeks.
• Ability to travel to cases as assigned within the regional service area.
