Part‑Time Experienced Nanny – Stonewall, LA We are a military family and currently do not have any local support. As the mother, I am looking for a reliable and hands‑on mother’s helper to care for our children at home while I work remotely or attend to chores. This role is part of a 1‑3 year arrangement. Schedule Phase 1 – Startup & End November 17: Every other Monday, 4:45‑5:45 PM; toddler age 2. Potential additional support during doctors’ appointments once a week. Phase 2 – Starts December 1 (until mid‑January): Morning or afternoon support, 4‑6 hours per week (2‑3 days a week, to be determined). Primary focus on toddler care while mother cares for newborn. Time allocated for mother’s breaks and chores. Phase 3 – Mid‑January onward: Every other Monday, 4:45‑5:45 PM. Occasional additional meetings, 2‑6 hrs per month, 1‑3 times. Continued weekly support during mother’s very part‑time work hours (2‑4 hrs per week, 1‑2 days). Extras Bonus opportunities such as date nights or support during husband’s work trips. Potential for 2‑4 days per week (4‑8 hrs) if husband deploys. Qualifications Experience with toddlers and newborns. CPR certification. Ability to set kind but firm boundaries. Enjoys engaging and playing with children. Takes initiative and is hands‑on. Flexible to a degree. Safety‑oriented. Responsibilities Diaper changes, nap‑time support and feedings for the newborn. Snack provision and occasional diaper changes for the toddler. Educational engagement with the toddler (color and number practice, vocabulary development, craft, pretend play). Supplies and ideas are provided. Light tidying related to children (toys, dishes, diapers). Setting kind but firm boundaries with the toddler.
