Overview
Physical Therapy Assistant — LTAC specialty, Reading, Pennsylvania. Start date: 08/10/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $1,369–$1,493 per week. Guaranteed hours: 35 per week. Shift: 5x8 days, 08:00–16:30. Assignment in a long-term rehabilitation setting under a travel temporary assignment arrangement.

Responsibilities
- Implement and adjust treatment plans for rehabilitation patients under supervision of a PT, with emphasis on functional improvement and safety.
- Conduct therapeutic exercises, gait and balance training, therapeutic activities, and assistive device training as prescribed.
- Monitor patient response, document progress, and communicate changes to the supervising PT to modify the plan of care.
- Support modalities and equipment use (per facility policy) while maintaining infection control and safety standards.
- Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and support staff to coordinate care and optimize patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate treatment notes, schedules, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements
- Active Physical Therapy Assistant license in Pennsylvania or eligible for licensure for the assignment
- Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program (associate degree)
- Ability to work in a long-term rehabilitation setting and participate in a 5x8 daytime shift
- Willingness to travel for a temporary assignment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to patient-centered care and safety standards
