Job Description
We are seeking a licensed Customer Service Agent to join our small team and assist clients by providing product and service information, resolving insurance-related questions, and supporting sales efforts. This role requires a Pennsylvania Property and Casualty license and prior insurance experience. You will report directly to the agency owner and engage with customers primarily through inbound and outbound calls, with occasional local travel involved.
Responsibilities
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally
- Provide accurate information about insurance products and services
- Troubleshoot and resolve claims issues and concerns
- Document and update customer records based on interactions
- Support sales initiatives and promote relevant products
- Build and maintain rapport with clients to ensure satisfaction and retention
- Stay informed of evolving products and service offerings
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of insurance customer service experience
- Valid Pennsylvania Property and Casualty License
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Proficiency in insurance knowledge and sales techniques
- Ability to multitask and prioritize efficiently
- Effective problem-solving capabilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building client rapport in a small team setting
- Positive and professional demeanor with excellent verbal and written communication
- Willingness to engage in regular training and development programs
- Interest in leveraging sales commissions for unlimited income potential
