Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Job Description Join a unique adult medical/surgical unit that caters to patients with active co-morbid psychiatric and/or behavioral issues. This expanding unit is seeking flexible, enthusiastic, and committed nurses to support our growth. Experience in medical-surgical acute care is advantageous, and a willingness to adapt to a diverse patient population in a dynamic environment is essential. Nurses are eligible for dual-certification in both medical/surgical nursing and psychiatric nursing after meeting the required experience criteria. Responsibilities Provide compassionate and competent care to patients with varying medical and psychiatric needs. Participate in a collaborative healthcare team to enhance patient outcomes. Monitor patient conditions and respond effectively to changes. Document nursing assessments, interventions, and outcomes. Assist in the development and implementation of patient care plans. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Current RN License in New York (Required) Minimum of 2 years of recent medical-surgical nursing experience (Required) Experience in psychology (Required) Telemetry experience (Required) BLS certification from the American Heart Association (Required) Why ARMStaffing?
